Watch_Dogs was released back in May, but only today have I finally finished its campaign. A combination of other interests and its experience kept me from finishing it sooner. As much as I would like to say that it is an amazingly fun game, I can't. It is fun, at moments, but it also has moments that just anger me. Specifically gunfights are frustrating because the cover system is so wonky and driving just puts me up the wall.

The primary issue I had with the cover system is to do with firing weapons. No matter what, you have to move out of cover some before shooting, which makes me wonder why it is worth firing from cover, without just going to the scope. Of course I always go to the scope first anyway, but the required camera shift makes no-scoping next to worthless.
The driving though... For starters there does not appear to be any kind of acceleration curve when you first start the car. You floor it, which reduces traction, and is just annoying. Ironically though, I found I got a better start from that then spinning up the tires with the brakes on. Not what I would expect.
The generally confusing traction is also a major issue, as it becomes very difficult to turn at high speed without slamming into something. If that something is another car that is also at speed, for some reason you will have next to no impact on it. If a car slams into you though, as happens whenever you are being chased, you will be pushed around the road and pulled to a dead stop all the time. Combine that with the inability to use weapons from the car, while adversaries can, and you have a rather frustrating experience with driving. Oh, and we can't forget the missions where you have to avoid the police, succeed in doing so as none are around you, when suddenly you are spotted and fail the mission. That would always be fun, except it isn't.
Yeah, so Watch_Dogs can definitely be a lot of fun in some places, like when you dance between cameras, avoiding confrontations, but then there are the moments like I mentioned above. Hopefully if it gets a sequel, which I can't imagine it not getting, a lot of these issues can be addressed.
