The Truth About Fiction

Fiction is a place to put a lot of truth because there it can be expressed free of interruption. Indeed I believe there is more truth in a lot of fiction than in nonfiction for this very reason. It is like with morality plays and fables that try to teach you a point. It will be free of the trappings of the day you would normally learn the lesson on, making it clearer to see, to feel, and to experience. Of course it can lack the punch of reality, but that does not have to diminish its value or importance.
Eh, I think I'm blathering. See you next week.
