A week ago I was really hoping and even expecting the Cleveland Indians to win the World Series this year, but that did not happen. Honestly though, I'm not upset by this outcome. We lost, yes, which is not ideal, but we lost in one of the best World Series in modern baseball and in one of the best Game 7's a World Series has seen.
It might be something about me not everyone likes, but I can be satisfied with a well-fought, but still lost game or fight. I guess it is because the pride, respect, and honor does not come from the victory but from the effort invested, according to my view of the world. Not everyone agrees with this, I'm sure, but it is how I feel about it and so I am still proud of the Cleveland Indians and all they achieved this season. (But let's get that trophy next year.)
