Recently I have been playing some games that have provided me with some interesting experiences.
The first I want to talk about is the Free-to-Play Marvel Heroes game. I first played it months ago as part of an nVidia F2P bundle. At the time I did find it to be fun, but I did eventually stop playing it and uninstall it. However many weeks ago though, I got an email about an event being held in it (I never unsubscribed from its newsletter). That event involved having a double experience buff given to everyone for the weekend, and gave everyone one free, random hero. That got me playing again, and now it has become one of my go-to games for a quick, fun experience. I also have to say that I am really glad I got back in because playing it more has grown my appreciation of it. Despite being a free-to-play game, it does a lot of things right, including that you are always able to go somewhere to do something rewarding. If the difficulty of one challenge becomes too much to handle, there are other challenges you can go to and get more experience and gear from. Also the developers keep holding special events for it, which is very cool as it is a good way to keep the community interested and active. New reasons to get in a play.
Apparently it is a good idea to have a blog now-a-days. Not entirely sure about that because I'm personally not interested in how your day has gone. Unless I know you of course, but if something important or interesting happens, I would hope you'd tell me, instead of making me read it online.

Happy Easter!
Today millions of people celebrated Easter, the highest holy day for many of the Christian faiths. (I'm not certain of their names, but there are some that consider other holy days to be of greater importance.) Part of that celebration no doubt included some going to church for the first time since Christmas. Some may say that's a sad state for Christianity, but it isn't that bad. I mean they did go to church, and that should be celebrated. It will also be celebrated the next time they come, even if it is months from now.
Happy Easter everyone. (And Happy Passover, which already passed.)

That was an Anjoyable Movie
This past week I went to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier and I would like to say that I enjoyed it. I really did and I found it to be a good movie. For some of those that know me, that means something, at least when it comes to the story. Story is so very important to me, so if it is not well developed or well told, I take issue with it. That the case with Captain America 2 though. I definitely enjoyed it and found it all to be quite good; story included.
One thing I do want to say though is that it should not and cannot be compared to The Dark Knight. There are very different dynamics to those two, with TDK gracefully shifting the plot, without losing any of its drive, and CA:TWS never having such a shift. The plot does develop, of course, but that shift never happens. Basically you could accuse TDK of being two movies edited (well) together, but CA:TWS you cannot. That does not diminish either though! They are just different and I hope people will not compare them with too much detail, because personally, I believe that would be incorrect and unfair to both.

So... Goat Simulator
Along with all of the April Fool's day jokes and pranks that happened around the Internet, the game Goat Simulator launched. Yes, a game that allows you to simulate being a goat. If goats were invulnerable animals with arbitrarily long tongues and joints capable of recovering from any kind of dislocation you can imagine.
Anyway, because the launch trailer for the tech-demo-turned-release-product made me laugh, I decided to buy it and, you know what? I don't regret it. I really don't because I got exactly what I was expecting. Something silly, ridiculous, and absurd. It also happens to be a lot of fun as you try to find all the little, weird things put in there, and discover what crazy things you can do with your wacky abilities.
Not going to say if I would recommend it or not (at least at this time) but I can say that it is fun, so don't turn away from it, just because it is named Goat Simulator.
